Warehousing & Fulfillment Services

In addition to CD and DVD on-demand duplication
and fulfillment, SwiftCD will also ship your other
items directly to your customers.
What exactly do you mean by "fulfill"?
We will help you in every aspect of sending
your products to your customers: taking
orders, processing credit cards, packaging your
items, shipping your items, and sending you
detailed reports about your shipments.
What kinds of items will you fulfill?
We'll ship just about anything for you--pens,
hats, shirts, printed materials, prepackaged
CDs, DVDs, or video tapes. Please
ask if you have any questions.
What are your fulfillment fees?
- 3.00 per order
fulfilled, plus postage, for Small and
Medium items (defined below)
- 4.50 per order
fulfilled, plus postage, for Large items
(defined below)
- This may vary,
mostly depending on your packaging and
assembly needs. For example, a retail
software box assembled by us, costs an
additional 1.00 per order fulfilled.
- If you
send us pre-assembled software boxes,
then the 4.50 fee applies for Large
items.
- If we
are shipping your on-demand CDs in
your pre-assembled software
boxes, we will charge you the normal
on-demand CD fees, plus a fulfillment
fee for the software box, plus
warehousing fees below, if applicable.
- If we
are shipping your on-demand CDs in
your un-assembled software
boxes, then we will charge you a 1.00
assembly fee, the normal on-demand CD
fees, plus a fulfillment fee for the
software box, plus warehousing fees
below, if applicable.
What if I have several items in my order?
The price per order includes up to four items
within the order. If the package will
include more than four items, the charge is 0.50
per additional item. For example, if you
order nine Medium items in one package, the cost
will be the order price (first four items) plus
2.50 (last five items) plus postage.
Do you charge any warehousing fees?
Warehousing fees apply beginning the first month
you stock inventory with us, and are computed each
month based on that month's volume.
At the end of each month, we perform a calculation
looking at your inventory for that month as it
relates to the amount shipped in that month.
We do not charge any warehousing fees as long as
you stock less than or equal to 3 times the number
of units that you shipped in that specific
month.
If inventory on-hand exceeds 3 times your sales
for that month, we will add warehousing fees to
your monthly statement. Note: warehousing
fees apply only to the quantity of items in excess
of the 3x maximum. For example: If you
ship 10 items in a month, then the maximum items
we can have in storage for that month for you to
avoid any warehousing fees is 30 items. If
you have 40 items in inventory at the end of the
month, then warehousing fees will apply to 10
items only, not all 40. If you do not ship
any products through us for a month, the minimum
warehousing fee is 10.00.
What if we want you to dispose of our
inventory?
If you want us to dispose of your inventory, the
cost is 0.20 per item. If you send a
shipping company to pick up your items, the cost
is also 0.20 per item, and we require notice of
such pickups five business days in advance.
We do not palletize products for
shipment.
How do you calculate warehousing fees?
We classify items as Large, Medium, and
Small.
Large Items - More
than 14 inches (35.5 cm) combined length, width,
and height. This category would include most
retail boxed software. The warehousing fee
for large items is 0.30 per month per item.
Medium Items -
Less than 14 inches (35.5 cm) but more than 9
inches (23 cm) combined length, width, and
height. This category would include CDs in
sleeves, jewel cases, DVD cases, and videocasettes.
The warehousing fee for medium items is 0.20 per
month per item.
Small Items - Less
than 9 inches (23 cm) combined length, width, and
height. This category would include small
items such as pens or keychains. The
warehousing fees for small items is 0.10 per month
per item.
How can we get started?
If you are not already a SwiftCD customer, please
sign up for our services here.
After you are signed up, log in to our Vendor
Area, click on product list, and create a
ProductID for each item that you would like us to
fulfill for you. Be sure to specify
"Fulfillment Item" as the product type.
How do we send our products to you?
Ship to:

IMPORTANT:
Be sure that your address line is clearly marked
with your CustomerId and the ProductIDs
which you created in our Vendor Area.
Markings can either be on the exterior of the
package, or on documents accompanying the package,
but are best added to the address Attn:
line. Otherwise we'll never be able to
identify them. If that happens, we will hold
them in our warehouse for four weeks as an
unidentified shipment. After four weeks, we
will dispose of them. If the shipment is
identified after arrival (usually when customers
send an inquiry to us looking for the shipment),
we will add a 20.00 stockage fee to your
account, if the shipment was not identified with
your CustomerId and ProductId upon arrival.
How can I tell how many items I still have in
inventory?
This is fully automated. After each day of
shipping, your inventory count is updated in our
Vendor Area, available for you to check any time.
Sending Orders to SwiftCD
You can send us orders directly, via our XML
interface, or if your e-commerce
provider integrates with us you can send us
orders from them.
What happens if one of my customers doesn't
receive their shipment from you?
We strongly recommend you use a tracked shipping
method to send your shipments. We offer a
full range of UPS shipping choices to send your
products around the world. If you choose
send by a non-tracked method, such as the US
Postal Service, we cannot help you if your
shipment is lost. In such a situation, the
cost to send a replacement will be yours. If
you send by a tracked method such as UPS, we will
submit the claim to UPS in your behalf and we will
pay for the replacement shipment.
What happens if one of my customers returns an
item, or if the item cannot be delivered?
If
a Fulfillment Item has been returned to us, we
will notify you of the return, and the reason for
the return, if available. We will return the
item to your inventory so that it can be used for
future shipments. If the item is returned in
unusable condition, we will will notify you and
let you decide how to dispose of the item.
