Reporting

Summary:  Each day that we ship CDs for you, we will send you an e-mail shipping status report.  We also have several on-line reporting and tracking tools available.

IMPORTANT:  We send e-mail notices to you each time you upload to us, when we ship CDs for you, and when you enter orders in our Vendor Area.  Please be sure that all SwiftCD.com e-mail addresses are white-listed in your spam filter.  We do not send spam.


Daily Status Report

This report is sent via e-mail to the address that you provided in the SwiftCD Vendor Area > Company Information.  

The report lists the orders shipped by TrackingId, the shipping status, and the UPS tracking number, if applicable.  (IMPORTANT:  If you do not receive a Daily Status Report within 48 hours after you place an order, let us know right away so that we can sort out the problem.  Please do not wait for several weeks until your purchaser complains, let's solve the problem right away and get your orders shipped.)

Sample entry from a Daily Status Report:

     20050312-98579-570,SHIPPED

This entry tells you that this TrackingId was shipped on the date of the report.  The report will contained an entry for each item shipped.

Possible status codes:

SHIPPED - This order shipped in accordance with your instructions.

ERROR-PID - There was a problem with the ProductId that you ordered, usually indicating that we have not received the ProductId content from you.  This is a fatal error.  If you wish to have the order shipped in the future after correcting the error, you must send us a new order.

ERROR-ADDR - There was a problem with the shipping address that you provided in the order, which we were unable to resolve.  This is a fatal error.  If you wish to have the order shipped in the future after correcting the error, you must send us a new order.

ERROR - There was another problem with your order, and we will send you an additional e-mail with details.

Here is another sample entry from a Daily Status Report:

     20050312-98579-570,SHIPPED,1ZA08W981234567891

This entry tells you that this TrackingId was shipped on the date of the report via UPS, and the UPS tracking number is listed after the status code.  If you wish, you can track the delivery status of the shipment at the UPS web site.


Monthly Statement

We will send you a monthly statement of your account, in MS Excel spreadsheet format, to the invoice e-mail address that you provided in the SwiftCD Vendor Area > Company Information.


On Line Tracking

This link is very important, and we strongly encourage you to use it to track your orders.  You can also give this link to your purchasers, since it does not require a log-in to the SwiftCD Vendor Area:

(If you wish, you can even use this link http://www.swiftcd.com/shelltracking.asp within one of your own pages on your web site, to make order tracking easier for your purchasers.)

If you cannot find your order by using this link, then either we did not receive the order from you, or you are entering an incorrect TrackingId.  Please confirm that you sent the order to us, then contact us to resolve the problem.

If the order was shipped via UPS, this page will contain the UPS tracking number, hot-linked to the UPS tracking system.


Vendor Area Reporting Tools

The SwiftCD Vendor Area, has more reporting tools for you to track your sales and shipment.  To use these tools, log in to the SwiftCD Vendor Area, and click on CD Sales or Track CDs.
