(NOTE:
Please check this page frequently (we recommend at least
once per month) if you base your pricing on these shipping
costs. UPS and US Postal Service prices change several
times per year. Click
here for detailed table of estimated shipping costs for
all weights, shipping methods, and destinations.)
SwiftCD
offers several shipping modes at various cost levels, to give
you the right mix of price, speed, and tracking
capability. NOTE: We charge the ACTUAL postage to
you. For example, a CD in a sleeve shipped to a US
address costs only $0.58 (US Postal Service First Class
Mail). We do not advertise a low CD production price,
then charge a high price for shipping and handling.
Shipping
via First Class mail usually takes 3-4 days for delivery in
the US, and Airmail usually takes 4-7 days for delivery to
non-US addresses. However, please allow 3 weeks for
delivery (US addresses) and 4 weeks for delivery (non-US
addresses). If you or your customer do not receive the
CD in the time allotted, please check
the shipment status here. Be sure to include the
order TrackingID in all correspondence.
If
your shipment to a US address contains five or more CDs, and
you have selected a non-tracked shipping method, we will
change the shipping method to the least expensive tracked
shipping method, normally UPS Ground. (If you have
selected Priority Mail, we will change the shipping to UPS 2nd
Day Air.) This provides better security in the event of
loss or damage. If your large shipment is destined for a
non-US address and you have specified a non-tracked shipping
method, our standard replacement policy for lost orders does
not apply.
If
you wish us to ship via third party shippers (any shipper
other than UPS or the US Postal Service) charged to a third
party shipping account, we will do so subject to the
following:
You
must let
us know about such requests immediately after placing
the affected order.
You
must send us a PDF shipping slip for the package, as well
as all associated packing documents or customs documents as
needed.
You
must arrange for the third party carrier to pick up the
shipment at our production facility:
DigitalSwift
Corporation
1601 Industrial Blvd.
Madison, Georgia 30650 USA
We
will charge you a 5.00 fee for third party shipments
If
you do not specify a Shipping Method in your order, the
default method is First Class mail. To specify other
shipping methods:
If you send orders to us by
filling out the "Place an Order" form in our
Vendor Area, shipping methods are available in a drop
down menu.
If you send orders to us via
XML post, <Shipping><Method> choices are
listed in our XML
Ordering Instructions.
If you send orders to us
through your e-commerce
company or software registration service, please check
with your service about which shipping methods they offer.
If you send orders to us via
e-mail, <Shipping><Method> choices are
listed in our E-Mail
Ordering Instructions.

For our tracked courier
service, we use United Parcel Service (UPS) for shipping
around the world.
IMPORTANT: UPS
does not deliver to PO boxes. Also, rates quoted for
US addresses includes the continental 48 states only.
UPS shipments to US
addresses includes the 48 states and Washington DC.
It does not include Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), Puerto Rico
(PR), Virgin Islands, (VI) or other US possessions, which
are charged at UPS WorldWide Express rates. Click
here for a listing of the 48 states and Washington DC.
Once in a great while, the
chosen UPS shipping method is not available for the address
specified. In that event, we will ship by the next
fastest method.
On occasion, UPS charges
for a shipment far exceed our charges to you. This is
usually related to the remoteness or some other issue with
the final destination, and the additional effort that UPS
must put forth to make the delivery. When that
happens, we have two options: Instead of taking up to two
business days to ship the order, our default action is to
put an internal plant rush on the order, make sure that it
ships on the same day that we receive the order, but slow
the shipping method by one day. Example:
If the order is for UPS Next Day, we would ship it via UPS
2nd Day. The costs would work out to around a
break-even and the net effect to the purchaser (in terms of
delivery date) is usually the same. The other choice
is for us to put a hold on the order and send you an
e-mail, asking if you approve the higher charges.
This is not a good solution, as you might need to try to
contact the purchaser and collect more money, all of which
delays the shipment. If you prefer this second
method, however, please let us know, and we will contact
you via e-mail if the UPS charges for one of your orders is
extremely high.
Our policy is to guarantee
shipment within 2 business days of receiving your order,
although we make every effort to ship sooner. Please
keep in mind that the estimated delivery times below are after
we have shipped the order, not from the time the purchaser
places the order.
